Staff are welcome to attend the ‘Time to Change’ event on 13 June (4-5.30pm) - booking required.
The University is to sign the Time to Change pledge, which is about tackling mental health stigma and discrimination and raising awareness of this issue.
The pledge will be signed at an event on Thursday 13 June at 4-5.30pm at Manchester Museum. Professor Clive Agnew will be signing it in his role as Disability Champion.
Organisations which sign the pledge are expected to put together an action plan to show how it will tackle mental health stigma and discrimination in the workplace.
Patrick Johnson, Head of Equality and Diversity said: “Signing the pledge signals the university’s commitment to help raise awareness and to tackle the stigma around mental health."
