Together24 conference: Programme now available
08 May 2024
Our Together24 programme has been finalised and is looking fabulous!
Together24 - The University of Manchester Library Annual Conference
Wednesday, 12 June 2024, 8.30am - 5pm, University Place
#UMLTogether24
There are a few things the Together24 Planning Team need you to do now so that everything runs smoothly on the day:
1. Confirm your attendance and let us know of any specific dietary requirements
Please accept or decline (no tentative responses please) your Together24 email invitation and select the option to send a response (as without this we won’t be able to work out final numbers for catering).
We have opted for a fully vegetarian/vegan buffet lunch. Please include any other specific dietary requirements in your acceptance so that we can make sure there is something for everyone to eat.
Please send your confirmation and specific dietary requirements by 5pm on Wednesday, 15 May 2024.
2. Confirm your attendance at the post conference refreshments in Crawford House Library Staff Hub
Please accept or decline (no tentative responses please) your Together24 email invitation and select the option to send a response (so we have final numbers for catering). We will order a combination of meat, vegetarian and vegan pizzas. Please include any specific dietary requirements in your acceptance.
Please send your confirmation and specific dietary requirements by 5pm on Thursday, 30 May 2024.
3. Sign up for breakout sessions
Before and after lunch we have breakout sessions lasting one hour each. Please check out the programme and sign up to your preferred sessions using the Eventbrite links.
Eventbrite will send you reminders for your sessions and you can also download the app so that you can see at a glance which sessions you have booked on to and which room in University Place you need to go to.
The deadline for signing up for breakout sessions is 5pm on Wednesday, 22 May 2024.
4. Thank Yous
Take the opportunity to thank your Library colleagues for things they have done over the last year. Tia Harriott and Hannah Clarke (Customer Services) have created a form for you to thank colleagues anonymously. You can thank individuals, groups of people or teams and send as many as you like. Thank you messages will be shown during the conference.
The deadline for sending in your Thank Yous is Tuesday, 21 May 2024.
5. Photographers needed
As in previous years we’d like to capture some photos of everything going on at the conference. If you’re willing to lend your photography skills for an hour or two (or longer if you like!) please contact Laura Earnshaw.
Finally, if you haven’t already spotted them, the Rylands nominations have been published. Check them out and read all about what Library colleagues have been recognised for this year.
