Call for contributions
Together25 is an opportunity for us all to share and celebrate some of the amazing work that we have been doing over the past year.
- What are you proud of?
- What are you working on that’s interesting?
- What’s new that you’ve tried that you could reflect on?
Who can submit a proposal?
Proposals can be made by individuals, small groups or teams.
We want to hear from all areas of our Library community. Mentor support can be provided.
What are the opportunities to get involved?
The programme for this year’s conference will be crafted to work within the spaces we have available at Rylands. In addition to presentations and breakout sessions there will be opportunities to take guided tours of the building and explore the new exhibitions.
You can choose from a variety of formats outlined below:
Focus on… presentations
An opportunity to spotlight a project you have completed or are working on. These presentations are limited to 10 minutes.
Breakout sessions
60-minute sessions for you to present, discuss, workshop, create, chat or build with a group of your Library colleagues.
Digital content
This year, colleagues will have more time and flexibility to explore digital contributions. You're welcome to submit any type of digital content for Together25 including videos, podcasts, narrated presentations, blogs, apps, games or interactive content. Instead of displaying submissions on screens at the event, we'll share your contributions online with colleagues the week before the conference so that everyone can explore them at their own pace on their own devices.
Please note that we’re not having our usual poster display due to space limitations but if you already had plans to create a poster, we can work with you on how to turn it into digital content.
Mentor support
If you have experience in creating and presenting conference content, you can volunteer to offer mentor support to colleagues. Please reach out to Ria Sunga directly if you’d like to be a mentor.
How do I make a proposal?
Proposals can be submitted from Wednesday, 19 March 2025 until 5pm on Wednesday, 9 April 2025.
The conference planning team will be in touch by the end of April to confirm how your proposal will feature in the conference.
If you have any questions, want to talk through your proposal or can offer your support as a mentor, please get in touch with either Ria Sunga or Michelle Sharples.
