Contract Work
The University’s Contractors All Risks (CAR) Insurance covers all contracts undertaken for the construction, renovation, alteration and refurbishment of University own and leased properties in the UK.
The CAR policy does not cover existing structures as it is provided on a joint names basis with the University’s Material Damage insurer. The interest of any Employer Principal, Contractor or Sub Contractor, is included but only to the extent to which that interest is required to be insured by the terms of the Contract.
