Faculty of Humanities - Embedding of EDI into the curriculum
All students should have the opportunity to be successful on their programme, no matter what their background and educational needs and this therefore should be taken into account when designing and delivering programmes. Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) in inclusive teaching and learning refers to intentional approaches to curriculum, course design, teaching practice, and assessment that create a learning environment where all students feel that their differences are valued and respected, have equitable access to learning and other educational.
The Faculty of Humanities has put together the following information and links to resources to support academics in the embedding of EDI within their programmes.
For further information on all aspects of EDI across the university, please refer to the universities dedicated Equality, Diversity and Inclusion webpages.
