Requests for course review

1 to 1 with speech bubbles

As part of the periodic review process, the eLearning team undertakes a series of eLearning programme reviews for the School undergoing PR.

We can offer individual course reviews for any course owner, following a similar process.

How it works:

  • You contact us via https://www.itservices.manchester.ac.uk/help/elearning/ .  When contacting us via the Support Portal, please remember to state 'course review request', and the course code(s) and title(s) of the course you would like to be reviewed, along with the names of any other key teaching staff for that unit.
  • An eLearning Technologist (eLT) will get in touch and let you know when they'll be looking at your course.
  • The eLT will then conduct a review of your course(s), using a checklist, on which they'll make notes and recommendations.
  • The eLT will then arrange a meeting with you, and perhaps the other members of the teaching team, to run through the checklist and discuss the recommendations.
  • This can either be followed up with another 1:1 to support you in implementing the recommendations, and/or pointers to suitable guidance and training.
