What is MS Teams?
MS Teams is a digital hub that brings communication, collaboration and formative assessment together in one place. Microsoft Teams is a cloud-based software that is part of the Office 365 suite.
The core capabilities in Microsoft Teams for teaching and learning include:
- Facilitating communication with students in various modes to accommodate different interaction and learning preference, using functions such as chat, posts, audio and video call, emoji and more.
- Allowing synchronous and asynchronous collaboration on learning resources and activities, collaborating on files, OneNote, Whiteboard and more.
- Holding online meetings using interactive and engaging functions, using features such as breakout rooms, interaction emoji, polling with Form and Polly and more.
