Self-Enrol Online Training Course

Camtasia

You can self-enrol on the Using Camtasia in Your Teaching course via the Training Catalogue. The course includes information on:

• Downloading and installing Camtasia
• Understanding the Camtasia interface, file types, and project settings
• Recording your computer screen, with or without audio
• Editing your videos on the timeline
• Annotating your videos with call-outs and/or interactivity such as quizzes and hotspots
• Using animations
• Joining clips together, and splitting clips, and removing mistakes
• Speeding up or slowing down clips
• Using the Camtasia Library and downloading free Assets
• Accessing support FAQs, solutions to technical issues, and requesting further support.

Snagit

There is currently no University training offered for Snagit but Techsmith's own support pages for Snagit should enable you to start using the software with ease. You can always contact your eLearning team or come to a Zoom drop-in (open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm) for 1-2-1 support.
