What is Blackboard?
Blackboard is the web-based platform that we use across the institution to deliver our teaching, learning and assessment online. Blackboard also serves as the core system where we provide access to other tools and platforms.

Activate your playground
A playground space in Blackboard is a space used by an individual member of staff for experimenting with the tools available in Blackboard and for trying out different ways of structuring a course or presenting content. Blackboard playground spaces are not visible to students.
