Faculty of Humanities Strategy 2023-26
The Faculty of Humanities strategy sets out our mission for the 2023/24 to 2025/26 academic years, including our priorities and how we will measure our success.
Our strategy stems from the University’s vision and strategic plan, Our Future, and seeks to build on our existing strengths and the University’s three core goals: research and discovery, teaching and learning and social responsibility. Our people, whether academic or professional services staff, or students and alumni, are at the centre of everything we do. The Faculty of Humanities plays a crucial role in the University achieving its vision and our new strategy frames how we will continue this over the next three years.
“The Faculty of Humanities comprises a uniquely broad network of disciplines where ideas and creativity flow. If you are a colleague within the Faculty, I hope that our strategy provides a context for activity in your own School and department or division and helps to clarify how your role supports our success and achievements.”
Fiona Devine, Vice-President and Dean, Faculty of Humanities
