Chloe Jeffries
Chloe is Head of Strategic Funding and oversees research development and impact across the Faculty. She has worked in a number of UK HEIS, in research and policy-oriented roles and also held visiting fellowships in France and Germany. Chloe has a doctorate from the University of Oxford.

Aaron McGaughey
Aaron supports grant applications in SALC. Aaron works with Humanities researchers to develop projects and apply for funding. Prior to joining The University of Manchester, he gained a PhD in Russian History from The University of Nottingham and worked on funded projects with partners from heritage, library and local history organisations.

Chris Flanagan
Chris supports grant applications in AMBS. Chris has experience in higher education research support and researcher development, in both the UK and US, with a particular focus on research communication and grant writing. He received his B.A. from the University of Oxford, and Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame.

Tshego Seabi
Tshego works with researchers in SoSS. Tshego’s background is in psycholohy and public health with a PhD from Wits University, South Africa. She brings experience of supporting large grant applications to UKRI, Wellcome Trust and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Georgia Vesma
Georgia works with researchers in SEED to develop projects and apply for funding. She gained her BA, MA and PhD at The University of Manchester. Before joining the Strategic Funding Team Georgia managed fundraising teams in Higher Education and the charity sector.
