Targeted Studentships aimed at increasing equality, diversity and inclusion
Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is fundamental to the success of the Faculty of Humanities and The University of Manchester and is at the heart of all our activities. We know that diversity strengthens our research community, leading to enhanced research creativity, productivity and quality, and societal and economic impact.
We are committed to improving the diversity of students and staff, actively encouraging and supporting careers in research and higher education, and embedding EDI principles to ensure a positive and inclusive research environment.
These funding opportunities are targeted to improve equality, diversity and inclusion in the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Manchester. The studentships offer full financial support, a supportive research and training environment, and a skills and career development programme designed to support progression to future careers in research and beyond.
