Humanities Intake Management Group

Remit

The Humanities Intake Management Group (HUMs IMG) has been established to monitor and manage likely student enrolment against approved targets and to ensure appropriate action is taken to achieve targets and Faculty strategic objectives. The Group will focus on in-year activity to meet targets for that year’s entry and will feed in recommendations for longer term achievement of targets and management of demand, to the Humanities Strategic Student Recruitment and Admissions Group.

Frequency of meetings and reporting

Bi monthly (monthly during the summer). Admissions and SMR key activities/points in the admissions cycle. HUMs IMG will report to the Humanities Teaching and Learning Committee and the Strategic Student Recruitment and Admissions Group. Regular reports will also be prepared for the Faculty Leadership Team and the University Intake Management Group. Head of TLSE will use a scheduled fortnightly (monthly) meeting with Admissions Managers to monitor progress to targets. HUMs IMG will receive strategy/steer from School Admissions Strategy Groups which will be implemented into in-year actions via IMG.
