Promoting and recognising teaching excellence
We are proud of the work our teaching staff do and the University has several awards dedicated to recognising and rewarding excellent teaching and student support.
Teaching excellence awards
The Teaching Excellence Awards are available to teaching staff and staff in a teaching support role. The award recognises significant and sustained excellence in teaching, learning and the student experience. To nominate a member of staff, or to self-nominate, a case should be made that evidences the Reach, Value and Impact of the nominee’s work.
The Award consists of a commemorative trophy, the title of honorary Fellow of the Institute of Teaching and Learning and exclusive access to teaching and learning development opportunities.
