Steps to creating Professional Learning
Discuss
- Begin by discussing the project with the client
- Understand the deliverables they expect
- The timeline, and if possible, any budget they have in mind
At this stage, contact the Lifelong Learning Team at the earliest opportunity. It’s also a good idea to briefly discuss the proposed project with your line manager or Head of Department.
Submit
When you are ready, complete the Professional Learning project form
Process
The Lifelong Learning (LLL) Team will contact you to discuss the project in more detail. They will help guide you through:
- detailed scoping
- delivery model(s)
- costing, pricing
- and approval processes.
Commence
Once everything is in place (e.g. approval, signed agreement) the LLL team with your Head of School/Department will inform you when the project is live, and you can commence the work.
Depending on the project type, invoicing and payments will be dealt with either the faculty finance team, or the Flexible Learning Programme.
Complete
Upon completion of the project, the LLL team undertake and project review and assist with evaluation, as required.
