Open General Export Licences (OGELs)

What should I be aware of when using an Open General Export Licence (OGEL)?
Does each UoM person/student present in such meetings need to submit their own notification?
Can an overseas visit (e.g. 1 week visit to US) or an incoming visit (e.g. UoM hosting an academic visitor) be covered by one notification, or does each meeting taking place during the visit require a separate notification?
