Export Controls Training Course
This training course was designed by the Higher Education Export Control Association (HEECA) in collaboration with the government. This is a useful resource and tool in creating awareness on export control and to ensure that our research activities adhere to the federal regulations and institutional policies.
It was set up to build an informed approach to Export Control Compliance that is consistent at a national level and provide guidance and training materials that address specific Export Control challenges the sector faces. It also has useful and helpful links and further resources that will enable you have an in depth understanding of export controls.
This training is very important and is a compulsory requirement for all researchers and research related PS staff in FSE and FBMH faculties (specifically anyone engaging in an export related activities). Updates and amendments to export controls legislation are usually covered in this training package. Once you have completed the training, a certificate of completion will be issued. You are also expected to complete this training every 2 (two) years.
