Student recruitment
We play a key role in the very beginning of a young person’s journey into higher education. We work closely with prospective learners from primary school age right through to post-16 learners, teachers, parents and carers and we work with colleagues across the University in support of the University’s student recruitment ambitions. We work closely with the Division of International Development around the delivery of international recruitment activity and development of international partnership overseas.
Our work includes recruitment fairs for pre and post 16 learners and presentations on key topics such as choosing a course, making an application, student life and student finance. We work closely with teachers and advisers, providing curriculum-enhancing opportunities, the latest developments in education and the most up to date advice and guidance on supporting their students in making choices and applying to university. We also deliver Undergraduate Open Days for prospective students and their parents as well as campus visits for school and college groups.
