Baseline Personal Security Screening (BPSS)

Occasionally a staff member may believe that they will require BPSS clearance in the course of research. For more information on BPSS clearance visit Baseline Personal Security Screening (BPSS) government web pages. 

In this instance, staff should usually approach their sponsor / funder to confirm that such clearance is required. If confirmation is received then the funder / sponsor should be asked to provide an introduction to a contact with whom to initiate the BPSS process.
