Listed below you will find details of events and training which exist across the Faculty for staff, students and Community Partners involved in Service Learning (SL).

Service Learning in Healthcare Conference

This conference brings together like-minded individuals to discuss ways to integrate SL into the curriculum. Attendees visit from across the UK with individuals present from external institutes, including; The University of Sheffield, University of Exeter, Edge Hill University and the Medical Schools Council.

DentMan Conference

Every year, The Division of Dentistry hosts DentMan, a student led event which demonstrates and celebrates how dental students can make a difference through SL and volunteering.

Making a Difference Awards 

The University's annual Making a Difference Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of our staff, students, alumni and external partners, and celebrate how they are making a difference. SL award winners include Dental Service Learning and Service Learning in Pharmacy.
