Course marketing information
Undergraduate and postgraduate course marketing information is published on both the Faculty and the central University websites. This information is primarily updated and managed by the Faculty web team.
Content for course information is stored in one system – the 'web publishing' module' within Campus Solutions – which is distributed to multiple websites.
Annual web audits
Each course is updated once a year via the web audit process. This runs across the University with deadlines set by the central Student Communications and Marketing team.
We liaise directly with key people throughout the Faculty to ensure that the copy is factually correct and appropriate for the target audience.
The web audits take place during the following months:
- Undergraduate courses: December–January each year
- This includes collating entry requirement information that is sent to UCAS to use on their website.
- Postgraduate programmes: June–August each year
If you have any queries relating to this process, please contact Hannah Rankine, Marketing Officer.
One-off changes
If there's anything on a course page that is factually incorrect and needs to be updated outside of the annual web audit, please email Hannah Rankine.
Changes outside of Campus Solutions
Not all elements of course pages can be updated by the Faculty Communications and Marketing team. Please contact the relevant person from the list below.
