Manchester Museum is crowd sourcing photographs

Share the Love

100 days after the Manchester attack, Manchester Museum is putting a call out for the public to submit photographs via social media along the theme of 'What's wonderful about the people of Manchester' for a photographic display in The Study on the third floor of the museum.

This is part of the Museum's Share the Love campaign. Working with the Common Cause Foundation to promote and give voice to the things that their research has shown matter most to the people of Manchester and reflect those values that Mancunians think are most important such as compassion, kindness, equality and friendship.

The Museum wants to support these values to be celebrated and expressed so are giving over a space in the Museum for the public to share what's wonderful about the people of Manchester.

To be part of this just post your picture to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #peopleofmcr with a caption describing how it shows what's wonderful about the people of Manchester. Otherwise they can be e-mailed to Shanna Lennon, Common Cause Foundation Coordinator.

All pictures must be taken by the person sending them or have express permission of the person who took the photograph.
