WATCH: Staff Survey meets Braveheart

We asked Dean Jones to explain the importance of completing the Staff Survey

Dean is a Residential Technician based at the Fallowfield campus and he's been working at the University for 23 years. 

Dean was delighted when we asked him to talk to his colleagues about completing the Staff Survey.  

He said: "Following feedback from the last survey, 'thank you' events were introduced for Residences staff.  Twice a year, we get together, have something to eat - it's a great opportunity to see everyone! This shows that positive action is taken as a result of the Staff Survey."

Dean was also pleased to hear that there's a prize draw for each week that the Staff Survey is running - with 2 x £250 mini-break vouchers and a £50 John Lewis voucher available, drawn at random.  

He said: "It's great that there's a chance each week to win something - but most importantly, it's about making your voice heard."
