Master’s Bursary for Widening Participation students will open soon for 2018 entry
Applications for the Manchester Master’s Bursary, a targeted bursary scheme for students who meet certain widening participation criteria, will open on Monday, 5 March.
It was confirmed at the end of last year that the Bursary, which was introduced last year, will continue for September 2018 entry and into the future (subject to annual review). The scope of the bursary remains the same: 100 awards will be made per year, each worth £3,000 each, and will be paid to students in three cash instalments.

The scheme will open for applications on Monday, 5 March and close on Thursday, 31 May.
Recruitment and admissions staff are asked to publicise the scheme as widely as possible to prospective PGT students and offer-holders. If you would like some copies of flyers to hand out to current UG students who may be prospective PGT students, please email Felicity Wicks. The central Communications and Marketing Team will also ensure that the Bursary is publicised through central comms to current UG students and offer-holders.
