Give a child a cracking Easter with Wood Street Mission

07 Mar 2018

Last chance to donate an Easter egg through the Wood Street Mission appeal

Easter egg appeal

Wood Street Mission aims to give each child from a family affected by poverty a couple of Easter Eggs (a mixture of small and large) so any donations would be greatly appreciated.

As in previous years Wood Street Mission distribute Easter Eggs to families before the Easter School holidays begin so the closing date for the receipt of Easter Eggs from the University is Friday, 9 March 2018

This is the day when the Wood Street Mission van will come to Sackville Street Campus (Stores) to collect them.

If there are any late donations the Wood Street Mission van will come again on Friday, 16 March.

Please do not buy expensive eggs as they do not hold any raffles and for consistency it's better that the eggs are from a similar price range.

Please contact Muriel Shingler or Rose Underwood if you require any further information, or by telephone 0161 306 2523.

It's also possible for arrangements to be made for the collection of Easter Eggs across the University if you contact either Muriel or Rose.

Thank you in advance for any support you feel able to give to this year’s Easter Egg Appeal.
