Looking for a creative lunch break? 'Break the News' with Manchester Museum

24 Oct 2017

Ever wanted to re-write the news? Sick of fake news, bad news or dull news?

Break The News

Join Manchester Museum for ‘Break the News’ on Tuesday, 31 October from 12pm until 2pm - a creative drop-in workshop inviting the public to re-make the news, the sort you want to read more of.

Re-purposing old newspaper cuttings and images to create new collaged news pages culminating in a zine of stories that represent the people of Manchester.

A free, drop-in workshop open to all adults, no previous creative experience is needed, perfect for an alternative lunch break to sandwiches at your desk.

This activity is in response to the museum's Share the Love, a crowdsourced display of photographs on the theme of what's wonderful about the people of Manchester.
