Autism-friendly early opening at Manchester Museum

07 Feb 2017

Families welcome to see, make and do

Manchester Museum

Join us for our early openings at the Manchester Museum aimed at children who have autism and other needs, along with their families, carers and siblings.

Activities take place before the Museum opens to the general public and there will be a quiet room available too on the second Saturday of every month.

See objects, do activities and make creations inspired by one of the Museum’s galleries. A different gallery will be open at each early opening.

At our February session – on Saturday, 11 February from 9.15am to 10.30am – our Living Worlds and Nature Discovery galleries will be open earlier. Come along to enjoy and explore together.

The sessions are drop-in and free, for children and young people aged 5-16 with a parent or carer, and siblings are welcome.
