Christmas gift ideas
The Whitworth Art Gallery and Manchester Museum both offer 10% staff discount off their amazing range of gifts. Super Break offers discounts on their gift vouchers . The vouchers are available in denominations of £10, £25, £50 and £100. They a great way to let loved ones choose their own Super Break or experience.
Entertainment and leisure
It's a great time to take the family to the cinema – but it can be an expensive trip out with treats. Remember to use your Cinema Society membership to save up to 40% on your chosen cinema booking.
Martin Harris Centre
The Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama is a performance space situated at the heart of The University of Manchester’s campus. The Centre hosts new and emerging artists, as well as more established, internationally renowned figures. They also have free concerts on Thursdays.
Manchester’s Christmas markets
The Christmas markets will run to Saturday 22nd December, with the market in Albert Square opening for an extra day on Sunday 23rd December. All the markets open at 10am and close at 8pm except Albert Square which closes at 9pm. VisitManchester.com has more information and a trail map.
