One hour, expert speakers and a new toolkit for people managers – 12 June 2018
Are you a people manager at the University? Come along to a special one off event here on campus and hear from a range of internal and external speakers on management and leadership.
As part of the launch of a new online resource for managers – Managers’ Essentials – the University is hosting the one hour event where you will get to hear from expert speakers on a range of topics relating to managing at the University of Manchester.

The Managers’ Essentials toolkit has been created to complement our management and leadership offering by providing all the essential information that managers need – all in one place. It has been developed in response to feedback in Staff Survey.
The online toolkit provides people managers with a range of tools, templates and resources to help them develop as managers and manage everyday people situations. It includes, easy to digest guidance on various policies, handy FAQs, bitesize ‘how-to’ guides, and short videos explaining our people policies and how to address a range of management topics and challenges.
The toolkit will be available following the event on 12 June 2018.
