Certain truth or silly nonsense - why do preceptions differ?

23 Apr 2018

A discussion of the different ways in which people think about truth

CiS Manchester: The Manchester Science and Philosophy Group aims to provide an opportunity for those in and around the Manchester area to discuss science and faith in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Each meeting will have a short talk followed by plenty of time for questions and discussion over refreshments.

On Wednesday 9 May, Professor Peter Budd will lead a discussion on how our cultural background, our personality and our presuppositions influence the ways in which we perceive
scientific and religious truth.

Wednesday 9 May, 6pm, cafe open from 5.30pm, Milk & Honey Cafe, St Peter's House, Oxford Road, everyone welcome, free entry.
