A Manchester first as we launch Recycling Week

The University with the support of Manchester City Council and Manchester Student Homes will be launching the first ever Manchester Recycling Week from 13 until 19 November
The week aims to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and why more needs to be done. The University’s recycling rate is currently around 30%, we think we can improve this.
Off campus areas such as Fallowfield recycle almost 50% of their waste and Old Moat recycles over 60%.
Over 70% of all waste can be recycled so please help us to make a difference both on campus and off campus and recycle as much as possible.
