Lane and footpath closure affecting Booth Street West

MCC Highways has advised of a lane and footpath closure from Monday 20 March

As part of the continued redevelopment of Alliance Manchester Business School, a lane closure and footpath closure to the westbound carriageway of Booth Street West will commence from Monday 20 March.  This is to allow hoardings and scaffolding to be erected to the Harold Hankins and Alliance Manchester Business School West buildings in readiness for façade works to commence.

The highway will be reduced to a single carriageway between Oxford Road and Higher Cambridge Street, with all pedestrians being diverted to the Northern side footpath adjacent to the RNCM. 

The bus stop in this vicinity will also be suspended.
