Manchester Universities Gilbert and Sullivan Society
Although not strictly a staff society, Manchester Universities' Gilbert and Sullivan Society (commonly known as MUGSS) is one of those student societies that is worthy of a mention on this page because they are a longstanding part of the University community and anyone can go watch their shows.
MUGSS are in their 56th year and offer an excellent opportunity for people with a liking for the works of Gilbert and Sullivan to see their works performed.
